Personal information held by Garie Surf Club may include your name, date of birth, current and previous addresses, telephone/mobile phone number, email address, bank account or credit card details, occupation and your SydneyUnderwater.com PIN, username or password. Garie Surf Club also holds details of your Garie Surf Club services (including their status), as well as certain details about your personal interests if supplied.

- once collected, all sensitive information is encrypted and stored in a secure database;
- all server infrastructure is placed behind industry and industry standard firewall, ensuring the safety of your information.

In the case whether credit card information is captured for the purposes of online payment, these details are encrypted and stored for the duration of the transaction only. Once the transaction has been processed and a confirmation received from the respective payment authority, the details are deleted. This process ensures that we do not hold your credit card details for any longer than is required, and is considered industry best practice.
